Our production lead time is an estimated 3-5 business days for hardware, and 2-3 weeks for barn doors. Upon completion, it may take up to 5 business days to get to any location. All western states will be a 2-3 day shipping time and all eastern states will be a 4-5 day ship time.
30-Day return policy:
We offer 100% satisfaction on our barn door hardware. If there is a need to return or exchange the items ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receiving your order. Hardware over 30 days old will require a re-stocking fee of 25%. The hardware must be returned in new condition, and with no damages.
The return or exchange process can be started by filling out a return form located on our website under the support link at the bottom of the webpage. Once your hardware is received into our warehouse, you will be given a full refund within 10 business days.
Custom Orders cannot be returned. Custom orders include but are not limited to orders with changes in strap length, track width, wheels, finishes, and doors that are not currently manufactured in Artisan Hardware’s product catalogue. Products that are being made by Artisan at catalogued specs are not considered custom.
If you have any issues with your hardware and feel that it should be replaced due to manufacturing errors, please contact us for discussion.
Barn Door Policy
All doors are manufactured in Artisan Hardware’s door shop, and are custom built according to the size and specifications of the customer. All doors on our site are covered fully under our warranty policy (see below). Custom Doors are not fully covered, and include any door that is built for a customer that is not on the website and not part of our catalog.
Variability occurs in our reclaimed wood, it’s part of the unique nature of the product. Because of that, doors that are made from reclaimed woods will differ slightly from product photos.
30-Day Return Policy – Restocking fee of 25% for returned doors, custom doors can’t be returned. Refunds and returns require a claim to be submitted within 30 days of receiving product. Doors with a manufacturing error and other doors that qualify for a rebuild are covered for 90 days after receiving.
To help ensure door quality, hang as quickly after receiving as possible.
If door is unfinished, stain or paint as quickly as possible to prevent warping.
Artisan Hardware’s barn doors are manufactured to withstand as much variation in temperature and humidity as possible. The rails and stiles are made with wood that is assembled specifically to prevent warping and movement by crossing the direction of the grain in the wood. However, after all we can do, real wood occasionally finds a way to warp/move or the package is damaged in transit. Our policy for such is as follows.
– All door crates must be opened within 48 Hours of receiving to qualify. (Check for shipping damage and record)
– Warping and wood movement (shrinking or expanding) is covered for 90 days if door was stained or painted by Artisan Hardware or within 5 days of receiving by customer.
– Doors damaged in transit are fully covered under policy, and a new build or resolution will be provided. Pictures are required for resolution.
– Damages to finish of door upon receiving (picture required) will be handled with free touch up paint/stain and a partial refund of order according to damage. Standard refund of $50-$100.
